Our laser engraving machines use safety relays of the highest safety level. The safety relays are certified by the world's largest testing organization, SGS, and comply with the ISO 13849-1:2023 standard. The safety architecture and performance level meet PL e with Cat. 4.
Our OMTech CO2 laser engraving machine emits a wavelength of 10600 nm with a measured radiation power of 3.42 W/m2, well below the Class 1 limit of 1000 W/m2 for invisible lasers. OMTech PRONTO Q&A Unveiled
The 2.0 machine offers several upgrades over the older model. It has a higher engraving speed, improved efficiency, and enhanced safety features, including double protection for the front cover and waste bin door, while maintaining our Class 1 safety rating. The machine is equipped with a larger air pump and airflow fan for better performance. The X and Y axes use stepper motors with V-wheel guidance for greater stability. It also features a red light for easier calibration, a ball screw with a synchronous belt for high precision and low noise, and a non-contact switch for automatic focusing to minimize laser head deformation. The split-type chassis is more aesthetically pleasing, stronger, and easier to disassemble and transport. Additionally, it includes sensors to monitor air pump pressure and temperature, ensuring safety and reducing the risk of damage.
The new machine has a maximum engraving speed of 1000mm/s, which is about 66% faster than the old model's maximum speed of 600mm/s.
